Campaign Disclosure, Fees & Payouts
Please Read Before Starting a Campaign
Nativa Alliance Community Action provides an online platform where individuals, families, organizations, and community members may create fundraising campaigns for eligible personal, educational, community, emergency, creative, business, and other lawful purposes.
By creating and publishing a campaign, the Campaign Organizer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
Platform & Hosting Fee
Nativa Alliance Community Action charges a 5% platform and campaign-hosting fee on funds successfully raised through campaigns hosted on our website.
The platform fee helps cover services including:
Campaign hosting
Website maintenance
Platform administration
Campaign management
Technical support
General operating expenses
The 5% platform fee is separate from any payment-processing fees.
Payment-Processing Fees
Donations made by credit card, debit card, digital wallet, or other electronic payment method may be subject to third-party payment-processing fees.
These fees are charged by the payment processor and are separate from Nativa Alliance Community Action’s 5% platform fee.
Payment-processing fees may vary depending on the processor, transaction type, payment method, currency, chargeback, refund, or other circumstances.
The Campaign Organizer will receive the net campaign proceeds after applicable platform fees, processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, reversals, or other authorized adjustments have been deducted.
Campaign Closing & Payouts
When a campaign reaches its scheduled closing date, Nativa Alliance Community Action will begin the campaign-closing and payout process.
Campaign payouts will generally be initiated within five (5) business days after the campaign closes, provided:
Required identity and payout information has been provided
Banking information has been successfully verified
There are no unresolved payment disputes
There are no chargebacks or payment reversals requiring review
There is no suspected fraud or misuse
There are no holds or restrictions imposed by the payment processor or financial institution
Weekends and federal holidays are not considered business days.
When Will the Money Reach My Bank?
Initiating a payout does not mean funds will appear in the recipient’s bank account on the same day.
Once a payout has been released, the actual deposit date depends on the payment processor and the recipient’s bank or financial institution.
Nativa Alliance Community Action does not control bank-processing times and cannot guarantee the exact date that funds will appear in a recipient’s account.
Bank & Payout Information
Before funds can be released, the Campaign Organizer or approved beneficiary may be required to provide information needed to verify identity and transfer campaign proceeds.
Information requested may include:
Legal name
Mailing address
Date of birth or other identity-verification information when required
Email address and telephone number
Name of bank or financial institution
Payout account information
Additional information required by the payment processor
Banking and identity information should only be submitted through an approved secure process.
Failure to provide or successfully verify required payout information may delay the release of campaign funds.
Fraud & Verification Holds
Nativa Alliance Community Action reserves the right to delay, suspend, or withhold a payout while a campaign is being reviewed for suspected:
Fraud
False statements
Misrepresentation
Stolen identity
Unauthorized use of photographs or information
Misuse of donations
Payment fraud
Chargebacks
Violation of campaign rules
Illegal activity
Additional documents or verification may be requested before funds are released.
If fraud or unlawful conduct is suspected, the campaign may be suspended or removed and information may be provided to the appropriate payment processor, financial institution, or lawful authority when required.
Refunds & Chargebacks
Donations may be subject to refunds, payment disputes, reversals, or chargebacks.
When a payment is reversed, the amount of the transaction and any applicable processor or chargeback fees may be deducted from campaign proceeds.
If a chargeback or refund occurs after a campaign payout has been issued, the Campaign Organizer may remain responsible for amounts owed as permitted by applicable law and the applicable payment-processing agreement.
Featured Campaign Placement
Campaign Organizers may have the opportunity to purchase optional Featured Campaign placement for increased visibility on the website.
Featured placement is an advertising or promotional service and does not guarantee:
Donations
Campaign success
A specific number of views
A specific amount of money raised
Featured placement fees are separate from platform fees and payment-processing fees.
No Guarantee of Funding
Nativa Alliance Community Action does not guarantee that any campaign will receive donations or reach its fundraising goal.
Campaign success depends on factors including the Campaign Organizer’s story, outreach, sharing, audience, credibility, and donor interest.
By starting a campaign, the Campaign Organizer confirms that they have read and agree to this Campaign Disclosure, Fees & Payouts Policy.
