Accurate Campaign Information

Campaign organizers must provide truthful and accurate information about:

• Who the campaign is benefiting

• Why funds are being raised

• How donations are expected to be used

• The relationship between the organizer and beneficiary

• Any important changes affecting the campaign

False, misleading, or deceptive information may result in campaign review, suspension, or removal.

Identity and Payment Verification

Campaign organizers may be required to verify their identity, contact information, banking information, or other account details before receiving campaign funds.

Additional verification may be requested when necessary to protect donors, campaign organizers, and the platform.

Protect Your Account

Campaign organizers should keep account passwords, payment information, and login credentials secure.

Never share your password or verification codes with another person.

If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact Nativa Alliance Community Action as soon as possible.

Donate Carefully

Before donating, supporters should review the campaign description and make sure they understand:

• Who is organizing the campaign

• Who will benefit

• What the funds are being raised for

• How the organizer says donations will be used

If something appears unclear, supporters should review available campaign information before completing a donation.

Reporting a Campaign

If you believe a campaign contains false information, violates platform rules, misuses funds, or presents another serious concern, you may report the campaign to Nativa Alliance Community Action for review.

Providing specific information may help us evaluate the concern.

Campaign Review

Nativa Alliance Community Action may review campaigns when concerns are reported or when additional verification is required.

During a review, certain campaign features, payouts, or promotional services may be temporarily limited when necessary.

Suspicious Activity

Transactions may be reviewed when activity appears unusual, unauthorized, fraudulent, or inconsistent with normal campaign activity.

Certain payments may also be delayed, declined, reversed, or reviewed by the payment-processing provider.

Refunds and Disputes

Donors who believe a transaction was unauthorized or who have concerns about a donation should contact Nativa Alliance Community Action or their payment provider as appropriate.

Refunds, reversals, and chargebacks may affect the campaign’s available balance.

Prohibited Campaigns

Campaigns may not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited activity.

Campaign organizers are responsible for reviewing and following all applicable Nativa Alliance Community Action fundraising policies.
