Donor Information

Thank you for supporting campaigns through Nativa Alliance Community Action.

Before making a donation, we encourage supporters to review the campaign information and understand how donations are processed.

Review the Campaign

Before donating, read the campaign description carefully.

Make sure you understand:

  • Who is organizing the campaign

  • Who or what the campaign benefits

  • Why funds are being raised

  • How the organizer says the funds will be used

  • The campaign goal

Making a Donation

Donations may be made through the payment methods available on the fundraising platform.

The amount you choose to donate will be shown before your payment is completed.

Processing Fees

Online donations may include applicable payment-processing and platform fees.

Fee information is available on our Fundraising Fees page.

Donation Receipts

A confirmation or receipt may be provided after a successful donation.

Keep your receipt for your records.

Anonymous Donations

If the platform provides an anonymous donation option, you may choose to keep your name from appearing publicly on the campaign page.

Payment information may still be required to process the donation.

Refunds

Donations are generally made voluntarily to support the campaign selected by the donor.

Refund requests may be reviewed based on the circumstances of the transaction, campaign status, payment-processing requirements, and applicable platform policies.

Disputed or Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe a donation was made without your authorization, contact your financial institution and Nativa Alliance Community Action as soon as possible.

Tax Deductibility

A donation made through Nativa Alliance Community Action is not automatically tax-deductible.

Tax deductibility depends on the organization or beneficiary receiving the funds and applicable tax law.

If a campaign states that donations may qualify as charitable contributions, donors should review the campaign information and consult a qualified tax professional when necessary.

Campaign Concerns

If you believe a campaign contains misleading information, appears fraudulent, or violates platform rules, you may report it to Nativa Alliance Community Action for review.

Sharing a Campaign

Supporting a fundraiser does not always require a financial contribution.

You can also help by sharing campaigns with family, friends, organizations, and your community.
